Police Department is the Downtown
Precinct.
The Downtown Precinct has the largest bike patrol unit and also is the site of the MPD Police Museum which is open 24 hours a day. In the fall of 2000 the Downtown Precinct relocated to the
newly renovated Central Train Station as part of the South Main/Downtown Revitalization
Project. Officers and supervisors are housed here while the Museum and some supervisory
