On August 28, 2026, at 7:56 a.m., officers responded to a shots-fired call in the 2700 block of Ketchum Road. Officers were avised that the victim was awaken when shots were fired into his apartment. No injuries were reported.

Investigators reviewed video in the complex. It showed a green Kia Sol enter the complex, and the occupants fired several shots in the building and fled the scene.

The suspects were two males dressed in all black.
