On Monday, September 8, 2025, at 7:48 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 3600 Block of Huckleberry Street. Officers were advised that the victims were backing out of their driveway when two black males occupying a stolen white Lexus SUV fired several gunshots at them. After the shooting, the stolen Lexus SUV fled northbound on Huckleberry Street, following a stolen silver Lexus ES 350. The stolen Lexus SUV was located a short time later, in 3600 Hazelhedge Drive, unoccupied. Both males were captured on video surveillance in the 4100 Block of Winding Brook Lane at 6:20 a.m. stealing the white Lexus SUV, followed by a stolen maroon Lexus before the shooting occurred.
Suspect #1 was a Black male wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black ski mask, and blue tennis shoes.
Suspect # 2 was a Black male, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a black ski mask, and black jogging pants, armed with a black handgun with an extended magazine.
