On July 14, 2025, at 7:43 a.m., officers responded to a Theft of a Trailer at 2129 East Person Avenue. Officers were advised that two Black male suspects entered the business through a hole in the fence on the southeast side of the complex. The two suspects stole items from various vehicles on the lot, then summoned a male black suspect driving the white Ford 350 Van, which they used to steal two trailers: one was an enclosed trailer and the other a twelve-foot utility trailer. The suspects have removed most of the decals and the tag from the van. The van was stolen from Rentals of America on July 11, 2025.
