On July 24, 2025, at 10:37 a.m., officers responded to a report of business burglary at the BP Gas Station located at 2124 Union Avenue. Officers were advised that two unidentified suspects had entered the business during the early morning hours. The first suspect, initially seen at 12:04 a.m., was captured on video carrying a weed eater and wearing a black hoodie, black shorts, and black-and-white shoes. A second video, timestamped shortly afterward, showed two Black male suspects, one wearing blue jeans with cut patterns and a black hoodie, the other dressed similarly to the first, using bolt cutters to remove a lock. The same individuals appear to return at approximately 5:30 a.m., with one suspect now wearing light gray jogging pants.
