On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 7:25 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at 2804 Park Avenue, at Melrose Express. Officers were advised that a male victim pulled up to the store, and two males exited a newer, dark gray sedan, which appeared to be a Honda Sedan with temporary tags. The two suspects quickly approached the victim, who was standing at the open door of a black SUV. The two suspects took the victim’s cell phone and a silver/black handgun. Suspect #1 was a thin, Black male in his late teens to early twenties, wearing a black hooded jacket, light-colored jeans with tears on the front, black and white tennis shoes, a black skull cap, and long dreads with blonde tips. Suspect #2 was a Black male in his late teens to early twenties, wearing a black jacket with the hood up and dark-colored pants and shoes. Suspect #2 pulled a black pistol from his jacket while approaching the victim. The two suspects get back into the dark sedan and leave the scene with a third unknown suspect driving.
