On Thursday, October 9, 2025, at approximately 5:40 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 700 block of Lester Street. Upon arrival, they located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Through the course of the investigation, Algenon Lloyd, age 48, was identified as the individual responsible for the shooting. A warrant for First Degree Murder has been issued for his arrest.

Lloyd is considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach him.
