Mt. Moriah Task Force Arrests Carjacking Duo: 6869 Winchester Road

On February 23, 2026, at 7:31 p.m., officers responded to a carjacking in the 6800 block of Winchester Road. Two masked suspects attempted to take the victim’s vehicle while it was parked and running with her two children inside. While inside of the store, her other child alerted their mother that someone was trying to take the car.

The victim ran out of the store and opened the door, at which point she was assaulted by one of the suspects. During the scuffle, the children were able to jump out of the vehicle. One child was injured and transported to the hospital for treatment.

The Mt. Moriah Task Force searched the area for the suspects and located the vehicle parked in the 3600 block of Riverdale Road. Officers then located both suspects walking away from the area of the vehicle’s location, where they were detained and later arrested. 

Antonio Alexander, 25, was charged with Aggravated Assault, Assault, Theft of Property $2,500 and $10,000 to wit: Auto, and Theft of a Firearm less than $2,500.

Alexis Kearney, 31, was charged with Carjacking.
