It’s that time again! We are hosting our Annual Prom Closet, a program created to help local high school students access formal attire for prom and other special events.

We are currently accepting donations of prom dresses, suits, and accessories to help ensure students across Memphis have the opportunity to attend prom feeling confident and prepared for their special night.

Anyone who would like to donate can drop off new or gently used formal wear at Tillman Station, 426 Tillman Street, now through March 30.

Students will be able to shop at the MPD Prom Closet on April 10th from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and April 11 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at JIFF, 254 S. Lauderdale Street.

The Prom Closet is a part of our continued commitment to supporting our youth and strengthening relationships throughout the community while helping make prom a memorable experience for students throughout the city.
