On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, around 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a robbery in the 3200 block of Beechmont Street. Officers were advised that a lone male suspect knocked on the door of a home in the 3200 Block of Beechmont Street, which was occupied by the victim who was working on construction. The suspect entered the residence and brandished a black handgun, demanding money. The victim was then forced to get into his vehicle with the suspect. The victim then drove the suspect to an ATM, where the suspect forced him to withdraw money from his account. The victim was then forced to drive the suspect to the 1900 Block of Driftwood Avenue, where the suspect exited the victim’s vehicle with the victim’s money, other property, and his bicycle. Surrounding MPD pole cameras captured the suspect approaching the scene on a bicycle.

The suspect is described as a Black male, dark complexion, approximately 36 years of age, wearing a yellow raincoat.
