On Friday, March 27, 2026, at 1:21 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 2300 Block of Douglas Avenue. Officers located one victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The male juvenile was transported to the hospital in critical condition. He was later upgraded to non-critical condition. Officers were advised that the suspects fired several shots into the home and fled the scene. The suspects were last seen driving a black 2016 Lexus RC2 with TN Tag BMX-8837.
