On Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 8:55 p.m., officers responded to an attempted carjacking in the 4200 Block of Raleigh Millington Road. Officers were advised that the victim finished pumping gas into his vehicle when two unknown males approached him from the side, pointed a handgun at him, and demanded his car keys. The victim tussled with one of the unknown males, before driving away from the gas pumps. One of the unknown males fired a single gunshot at the victim’s vehicle as he drove away from the scene. Both males fled the scene in separate directions.

Suspect # 1 was a Black male, wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on the hood, black pants, a black ski mask, and white shoes.

Suspect # 2 was a Black male, black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on the front, black pants, no mask, black shoes
