On July 27, 2025, at 2:39 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at 4691 Horn Lake Road at the Lion Mart. Video surveillance shows two unknown Black male suspects walking into the gas station parking lot. The suspects shot at a juvenile victim and his family while they were getting gas. Both suspects were armed with black semi-automatic firearms. After the shooting, both suspects took off running on foot.

Suspect #1 was a Black male with short dreads, wearing a black hoodie with white writing and black pants.

Suspect #2 was a Black male with a short haircut, wearing a hoodie with the number 5 in white on the back.
