On Monday, September 1, 2025, at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault in the 100 block of Beale Street. Officers were advised that the victim witnessed a fight taking place near the intersection of Beale Street and November 6th. As he was leaving the area of the fight, he heard gunshots, but he did not see the shooter. The victim was struck several times by gunfire.

The video showed two male suspects armed with firearms. Suspect #1 was seen reaching into a black backpack and producing a handgun before firing the weapon. Suspect #2 was witnessed passing an unknown item from a teal/blue backpack to another male beside him, and during the process, suspect #2 can be seen handling an AR pistol-style firearm.

Suspect # 1 was a Black male with short dreadlocks wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans, and white tennis shoes.

Suspect # 2 was a Black male wearing a white t-shirt with a large graphic design on the back, light colored blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.
