On July 9, 2025, at 7:55 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of Chelsea Avenue. Officers were advised that a male was dropped off at Regional One suffering a gunshot wound to the groin. Video retrieved from the area showed the suspect to be a Black male, skinny build, approximately 20-25 years of age, hanging out of the passenger window of a black sedan, firing gunshots. The suspect was last seen after the shooting, leaving the scene in the vehicle eastbound on Chelsea Avenue.
