On September 2, 2025, at approximately 9:15 a.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault in the 1700 block of Dupont Avenue. Officers were advised that multiple gunshots were heard in the Apple Tree Apartments. Video showed a male approaching the victim’s residence, firing multiple shots at him that struck the door where he was standing. The victim was uninjured. The male kicked the door and then fled on foot.

The suspect had his hair twisted into two pigtails. He wore a black shirt with a graphic on the front, red underwear, white pants, and red shoes. He was armed with a black handgun with an extended magazine.
