On December 17th, 2025, at 1:45 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 1800 block of Pendleton Street within the Pendleton Place Apartments. Officers were advised that the victim was standing in the kitchen washing dishes when an unknown suspect fired multiple gunshots through his kitchen window, striking him in the back. Surveillance video obtained shows an unidentified suspect wearing all black, pulling out a black firearm, and firing shots through the window before running on foot away from the complex and exiting out the gate onto Pendleton Street and continuing to walk northbound.+
