On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 3:34 p.m., officers responded to an Aggravated Assault in the 3000 block of South Third Street. Officers were advised that an eleven-year-old victim was shot by an adult male wearing a white t-shirt wrapped around his head, a black shirt, black pants, and gray shoes. The suspect was armed with a black pistol. The suspect then fled the scene south from that location.
