On February 25, 2026, at approximately 3:09 p.m., officers responded to a shots-fired call that occurred at 3118 Chelsea Avenue. Officers located the victim at the intersection of Warford Street and Interstate 40. The victim was uninjured, but his vehicle was struck by gunfire. Officers were advised that the victim was in the business on Chelsea Road when he observed a male outside armed with a firearm. The victim confronted the suspect, and the suspect pointed the weapon at the victim. The suspect then followed the victim, firing at him and striking his vehicle. The suspect was last seen traveling on Pope Street from Chelsea Avenue in a gray Nissan Rogue.
