On March 24, 2026, at 2:38 a.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault at 3796 Shelby Drive at Exxon. Officers were advised that the victim was pumping gas as a white Nissan sedan parked in front of the store. A burgundy Nissan sedan drove past the victim down Shelby Drive as the front passenger shot a rifle at the victim multiple times. The victim dove inside the vehicle and fled the scene after being struck by gunfire. He was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released. The driver of the white Nissan sedan also fired a handgun approximately five times at the victim’s vehicle as he fled. The white Nissan sedan and burgundy Nissan sedan fled the scene northbound on Shelby Drive.
