On January 4, 2026, at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers responded to a shots fired call at Red Pier at 5901 Poplar Avenue. Officers were advised that two male suspects shot at the victim as they were leaving the restaurant. As officers arrived on scene, they were advised that the suspects fled and ran into the Target at 5959 Poplar Avenue. The suspects walked to the rear exit near electronics and were joined by two females. The suspects then jumped over the fence and continued towards Park Avenue as the females walked towards Ridgeway Road. The video showed the male suspects at Red Pier with six females before the shooting.
