On Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:40 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault at I-240 and Poplar Avenue. Officers were advised that a male, occupying a Mercedes SUV with TN tag 008BDVH, pointed a black pistol at the victim while driving on I-240 near Poplar Avenue. The victim followed the Mercedes SUV to HWY 70 near Stage Road, where the male exited the Mercedes and made threats towards the victim. The male then fled the scene in the Mercedes SUV before police arrival.

The suspect was a fair-complected, thin Male, late 20s to early 30s, 5’5”-5’6”. He had shoulder-length braids, was wearing dark colored clothing, and was armed with a black pistol.

He drove a gray 2010 Mercedes GLK 350 with TN tag 008BDVH.
