On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 6:24 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault at North Danny Thomas near Poplar Avenue. Officers located a male victim who was transported to Regional One in critical condition. Video in the area showed the suspect to be a Black male. He had dreadlocks and wore a black ball cap, a white t-shirt, black pants, white shoes, and a black necklace. He fled the scene walking westbound on Exchange Avenue from Lauderdale at approximately 6:15 p.m.
