On February 1, 2026, at 5:35 p.m., officers responded to a sexual assault in the 6000 block of Wind Meadow Lane. Officers were advised that the victim had met the suspect approximately one week earlier through the Facebook Dating app.

After the victim invited the suspect to her residence, he pulled out a firearm and assaulted her before leaving the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital and treated for her injuries.

Following the investigation, on February 6, 2026, Memphis Police officers located and arrested 27-year-old Andre Jackson in the 6300 block of Oregon Drive.

Jackson was charged with:

• Aggravated Rape

• Criminal Attempt to Commit Aggravated Kidnapping

• Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm

• Possession of a Handgun During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony
