On December 27, 2025, at 1:55 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault in the 2600 block of Wellons Avenue. Officers were advised that the victim’s boyfriend assaulted her and pointed a weapon at her.

A warrant was issued charging Lorenzo Clark, 29, with Aggravated Assault, Domestic Assault, and Vandalism $1,000 or less.

On December 29, 2025, at 6:45 a.m., the Fugitive Unit, working with our law enforcement partners, located Lorenzo Clark in the 3200 block of Cypress Road. He was placed into custody. When officers entered the residence to place Clark into custody, they observed a handgun and marijuana. An additional search of the residence led to the recovery of 2 additional weapons, a digital scale, ammunition, and promethazine.

Additionally, Clark was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell to wit: Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony (3X), Possession of a Legend Drug without a Prescription to wit: Promethazine with Codine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia to wit: Scale.
