On Sunday, April 5, 2026, at 7:10 p.m., officers responded to an attempted burglary in the 6000 block of Summer Trace Drive. Officers were advised that the victims were inside the unit when a male forced entry into the apartment. When the suspect saw that the apartment was occupied, he fled.

Video from the building showed two males outside the victim’s door during the burglary.

Suspect #1 was a male in a red hoodie, a black jacket, and light blue jeans.

Suspect #2 was a male in a gray Nike Tech jacket.
