On June 3, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the male victim pulled into the gas station at 1465 South Third Street. A female who was already on the lot got into an argument with the victim. After the two exchanged words, the female was seen talking to a male she was with at the store. The male then pulled a handgun, and he and the female attempted to rob the victim at gunpoint. The victim fled in his vehicle, and the male shot at him, striking his vehicle. The male and female left in a black sedan with a white hood, possibly a Toyota Camry.
