The following day, the victim’s stolen Chrysler Town & Country was spotted and tracked to the 4500 block of Durban Avenue. Officers located the van in a driveway, detained four individuals at the residence, and investigators identified 40-year-old Joseph Gilmore as the driver responsible for the theft. He was charged with Theft of Property $2,500–$10,000. The vehicle was safely returned to its owner.

This case highlights the impact of teamwork between our community and our officers.  By analyzing public safety trends and focusing resources where they are needed most, officers are able to respond more effectively and hold offenders accountable.
