On August 3, 2025, at 4:40 p.m., officers responded to a business burglary at Dollar General at 4111 Summer Avenue. Officers were advised that at approximately 4:00 p.m., an unknown male parked a white Ford Windstar behind the business and entered through the front door. He entered the stockroom, barricaded the doors, and stole $1,800 in detergent from a shipment through the back door. He loaded the detergent into the van and left the scene. The van had a broken rear windshield wiper.

The suspect was a Black male wearing a medical face mask, a dark ball cap, a tan-colored shirt with an image on the front, blue jeans, and clean white tennis shoes.
