On September 11, 2025, at 8:50 a.m., officers responded to a burglary at 431 South Highland at Char. Officers were advised that camera footage from the business showed four males making entry into the building at approximately 4:25 a.m. The males took a safe containing approximately $1,000 worth of silverware and multiple bottles of liquor. The suspects fled in an unknown direction.
