On September 18, 2025, at 12:08 p.m., officers responded to a burglary at 5724 Shelby Oaks Drive at Forward Storage. Officers were advised that two suspects entered the Forward Storage property by slipping through the gate as an unknown client exited the property. The two suspects then entered the on-site apartment where the victim lives as the on-site manager. The suspects stole cell phones and laptops. The victim located the suspects nearby and confronted them. The victim recovered his property when the suspect threw the property to the ground and fled.
