On December 31, 2025, at 9:12 p.m., officers responded to a burglary at 5855 Summer Avenue at A Moment in Time Antique Mall. The suspect gained entry to the business but was unable to enter other locked areas of the building. He left. A short time later, he broke into Quantum Antiques located at 5696 Summer Avenue, forcing entry into the business.
The suspect is a male with a slumped posture and a walk.

UPDATE:
On January 6, 2026, Appling Farms Station investigators received a CrimeStoppers tip identifying the suspect as Christopher Kirby.
On January 8, 2026, officers were advised that Kirby was on the scene at one of the businesses he had recently burglarized. When officers arrived, he fled the scene and was later located and taken into custody. Officers recovered stolen property taken in the burglaries during the investigation.
Christopher Kirby, 50, was charged with Burglary (4X), Possession of Burglary Tools, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
