On Friday, October 31, 2025, at 4:53 p.m., officers responded to a burglary at Monumental Baptist Church, located at 704 South Parkway East. Upon arrival, officers were informed that a suspect had broken into the church and was captured on surveillance cameras.

The suspect was described as wearing a dark-colored hoodie, light-colored pants, white shoes, and a green beanie. During the incident, the suspect stole a small assortment of power tools valued at approximately $200.

After taking the items, the suspect left the scene in an unknown direction.
