On June 16, 2025, at 3:30 a.m., officers responded to a burglary alarm at 368 Perkins Road Extended at Venice Kitchen. Video revealed that at 2:32 a.m., a suspect broke into the business through the back door. He went to the office and attempted to steal the safe. He took a box of paperwork and fled the scene. He fled in a small sedan.

The suspect had tattoos on both forearms and the back of his neck.
