On Tuesday, June 19, 2025, at 9:07 p.m., officers responded to a business robbery at Family Dollar at 2981 Park Avenue. A male suspect walked down an aisle before approaching the front register, where two cashiers were located. The male produced a black handgun from his waistband, cocked the weapon, pointed it at the cashiers and ordered them to give him the money. The cashier handed over the cash drawer, and the suspect took approximately $100 before he fled the store on foot.

Suspect #1 was a Black male in his late teens to early twenties, with a medium complexion and a slim build. He wore a green and black hoodie, dark jeans, black shoes, and was armed with a black handgun.
