On Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 6:59 p.m., officers responded to a business robbery at Dollar General at 3119 South Perkins Road. Officers were advised that a male selected an item to purchase and approached the checkout counter. When the clerk opened the cash drawer to make the transaction, the unknown male suspect produced a knife, leaned over the counter, and took cash from the business. The male suspect then fled the business on foot.

The suspect was a Black male with a dark complexion, approximately 60 years of age, 6 feet in height, and a medium build. He was wearing a white/black hat, a white t-shirt, gray pants, and black and white shoes.
