On Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:08 p.m., officers responded to a business robbery at Yum’s Restaurant at 782 South Highland Street. Two males entered through an open back door. One male was armed with a black handgun, and the other man was armed with a brown and black sawed-off shotgun. The males order the employees to the front register at gunpoint and demand all the money from the register. The males then ordered one of the employees to hold a plastic bag open, while the other emptied all the money out of the register. The males fled from the store out the same back door they entered through.

Suspect #1 was a medium-complexion Black male, medium-large build, approximately 6’0-6’3″. He wore a black shirt over his face, a white t-shirt, black sweatpants, and white and blue Jordan 13s. He was armed with a black and brown sawed-off shotgun.

Suspect #2 was a dark-complexion Black male, slim-medium build, approximately 5’7-5’10”. He wore a black and white baseball cap, a black shirt over his face, a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and white and black Jordan 11s. He was armed with a black handgun.
