On January 27, 2026, at approximately 8:10 a.m., officers responded to a robbery in the 1900 block of Mignon Avenue. Investigators determined that an armed male suspect approached the victim, removed a wallet from his pocket, and fled the scene in a dark blue Nissan with a female accomplice.
Using camera footage shared through the Connect Memphis program, investigators quickly identified the suspect vehicle and traced it to its owner.
On January 31, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Appling Farms Task Force located the vehicle at 6101 Shelby Oaks. Jeremy Morris, 28, and Destiny Worley, 27, were taken into custody. Evidence recovered at the scene linked both suspects to the robbery.
Jeremy Morris has been charged with Aggravated Robbery and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Handgun.
Destiny Worley has been charged with Aggravated Robbery.
