On Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 7:48 a.m., officers responded to a carjacking at the Valero Gas Station at 3151 Perkins Road. Officers were advised that the victim was putting money in the store’s air machine when a male approached him armed with a black and tan handgun. The male threatened to shoot the victim and demanded his car keys. The male fled the scene westbound on Knight Arnold in the victim’s 2010 Infiniti. The male was last seen exiting the carjacked vehicle at 1277 Airways Blvd.

The suspect was a light-complexioned Black male. He is approximately 6 feet tall. He wore a black hooded jacket, a white t-shirt, gray shorts, and white and black Jordans. He was carrying a black Nike backpack and was

armed with a handgun.
