Arrest Update: On August 12, 2025, three 17-year-old females and a 16-year-old female were arrested and charged with Carjacking.

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., officers responded to a carjacking at New Park Cemetery at 4536 Horn Lake Road. Officers were advised that the victim responded to an Uber request to pick up a female customer. When he arrived at the pickup location, four Black females and two Black males got into his red 2018 Nissan Versa. When the victim stopped at the front gate of the cemetery, one of the females sprayed him in the face with pepper spray. The victim was pulled from the car and assaulted. The six suspects drove away in the victim’s car. The four females were later captured in camera parking the vehicle at a shopping center in the 3800 block of Jackson Avenue and walking away westbound.

Suspect #1 was a dark-complexioned Black female with braided hair. She wore a white T-shirt, orange shorts, and carried a black fanny pack.

Suspect #2 was a dark-complexioned Black female with long black hair. She wore a multi-colored T-shirt, black pants, and blue house shoes.

Suspect #3 was a medium-complexioned Black female with a bun. She wore a red Mickey Mouse T-shirt, blue shorts, and black shoes. She carried a black purse.

Suspect #4 was a medium-complexioned Black female with two ponytails in her hair. She wore a multi-colored T-shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes. She carried a pink purse.
