On Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 7:48 a.m., officers responded to a carjacking at the Valero Gas Station located in the 3100 Block of Perkins. Officers were advised that the victim was putting money in the store’s air machine when a male approached him armed with a black and tan handgun. The male threatened to shoot the victim and demanded his car keys. The male fled the scene westbound on Knight Arnold Road in the victim’s 2010 Infiniti. The male was last seen exiting the carjacked vehicle at 1277 Airways Boulevard.
Suspect #1 was a Black male with a light complexion, 6 feet tall, wearing a black hooded jacket, a white T-shirt, and gray shorts, and carrying white and black Jordans. He was armed with a handgun and was carrying a black Nike backpack.
