On August 11, 2025, at 5:27 p.m., officers responded to a false pretenses call in the 3700 block of Prescott Road. Officers were advised that the suspect listed a vehicle for sale on Facebook Marketplace. When the victim arrived, the suspect took the $1,200 for the vehicle and said he would pull the car up from the back. While the victim waited, the suspect left in a black SUV bearing TN BRL8063.
