On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 6:49 p.m., officers responded to a fatal hit-and-run crash at Millbranch Road and Janis Drive. Officers located a 1998 Ford Ranger that had been struck by another vehicle, causing it to overturn, killing the driver. The second vehicle involved fled the scene northbound on Millbranch Road. The vehicle is believed to be a gold- or champagne-colored four-door sedan. The vehicle would have suffered front-end damage.
