On Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 2:00 am., officers responded to a fatal pedestrian crash on Sycamore View Road and Shelby Oaks Drive. Officers were advised that an unknown hit-and-run driver struck and fatally injured a male pedestrian and fled the scene. The hit-and-run vehicle was a dark colored 2020-2021 Honda Civic. The car will have damage to the front, hood, and windshield. The vehicle was last seen going northbound on Sycamore View Road from Shelby Oaks Drive.
