On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 6:36 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 6100 block of Ridgewyck Drive. A male victim, identified as Kameron Cantrell. Investigators located video footage in the area and have identified three individuals as persons of interest in this case.

On April 4, 2026, officers located Smith in the 3000 block of Kirby Downs Cove, where he was taken into custody without incident. He was identified as the male in the black hoodie with “Saint” on it.

Tristan Smith, 18, has been charged with First-Degree Murder in the Perpetration of Aggravated Robbery, Tampering with or Fabricating Evidence, and Unlawful Carrying or Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Felony.

Investigators are continuing their work to identify the two remaining suspects.
