On April 4, 2025, at 10:22 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at 1 North Front Street. Officers made the scene and located a male victim lying on the street suffering from gunshot wounds. The male victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. On June 7, 2025, the victim succumbed to his injuries. Video surveillance in the area shows the victim walking towards an older model, dark gray or black Chevrolet Tahoe, and then the driver of the Tahoe fired a shot at the victim. The Tahoe then drives away from the scene southbound on Front Street.
