On September 14, 2025, at 12:43 am, officers responded to a shooting at the intersection of South Parkway East and South Main Street. When officers arrived, they found the victim inside her vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers were advised that an unknown Black male fired several shots from a red pickup truck towards the victim’s vehicle near the intersection of South Parkway East and South Third Street. Videos were located that showed a red pickup truck following the victim as she drove north on South Third Street towards South Parkway East. The suspect was last seen west on SouthParkway East after firing shots at the victim’s vehicle.
