On July 17, 2025, at approximately 10:50 p.m., officers responded to a Kidnapping/Motor Vehicle Theft at 4625 Winchester Road. Officers were advised that the victim left her vehicle running and her child inside while she went into the store. Upon returning to the parking lot, the vehicle and the child were no longer there. Moments later, the victim’s vehicle and child were located unharmed in the 4300 block of Winchester Road. Video surveillance footage showed an unknown, slim-built, light-complexioned suspect with dreadlocks wearing a light-colored zip-up jacket featuring designs on the front and back, black pants, and black and grey Nike tennis shoes. The suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and drove off. No arrests have been made at this time.
