On June 30, 2026, the Memphis Police Department’s Fugitive Unit apprehended 18-year-old Jeremy Williams in the 400 block of Tillman Street.
Williams was identified by MPD’s Homicide Bureau and was wanted on charges of First-Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Robbery, Employing a Firearm with Intent to Commit a Dangerous Felony, and Theft of Property $1,000 or less.
Williams was wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred on May 16, 2026, in the 3000 block of Sharpe Avenue.
Throughout the investigation, officers established communication with Williams and his family, ultimately securing his surrender.
Through the coordinated efforts of the MPD Homicide Bureau and Fugitive Unit, Williams was taken into custody without incident.
