MPD Participated in “Arrive Alive on 385” Traffic Safety Campaign

The Memphis Police Department joined the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) and surrounding law enforcement agencies for the “Arrive Alive on 385” traffic safety campaign focusing on reducing traffic-related fatalities and serious injury crashes along State Route 385.

The Memphis Police Department, working alongside the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, the Collierville Police Department, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, and the Millington Police Department, on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, conducted traffic enforcement from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

During the campaign, officers made multiple contacts and issued a variety of traffic citations, including:
• Contacts Made: 408
• Speeding Violations: 202
• Seat Belt Violations: 39
• Distracted Driving Violations: 58
• No Driver’s License: 34
• Uninsured Motorists: 34
• Window Tint Violations: 10
• Other Violations: 30
• Misdemeanor Arrests: 1
This effort reflects the continued commitment to improve roadway safety and reduce dangerous driving behaviors on Memphis-area roadways.
